About the Role:

Simply Smiles Dental LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in West Valley City, UT! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives by delivering exceptional preventive dental care in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures for patients of all ages
• Double booked with dedicated assistant
• Pay DOE ~$48 -$50/hr
• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal evaluations and charting
• Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in accordance with office protocols
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies
• Document patient records accurately and maintain up-to-date clinical notes
• Collaborate with the dentist to develop and communicate individualized patient treatment plans
• Sterilize and prepare instruments and operatory in compliance with infection control standards

Requirements:

• Active Utah Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with dentrix software preferred
• Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented dental office
