Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Laundry/Housekeeping Aide to join our exceptional team at Skyview Rehab and Nursing, a premier therapy company in the long-term care setting. As a Laundry/Housekeeping Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces. Responsibilities:

• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding residents' clothing and linens

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene

• Maintain inventory of linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies

• Assist with meal preparation and cleanup, as needed

• Participate in infection control measures to prevent the spread of diseases

• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred

• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy loads, as well as stand for long periods

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
