Job Title: Entry-Level Sales and Marketing Associate 

Job Location: Tucker, GA (Metro Atlanta) 

Job Type: Full-time, hybrid schedule, Monday–Friday 

Job Summary: Comp+ is looking for a Sales and Marketing Associate who thrives on variety, loves solving problems, and is willing to dig into the details. No lighting or electrical experience? No problem. We provide hands-on training and a clear path to growing your career in sales. 

Comp+ represents large lighting and electrical manufacturers in the Pro retail channel. We partner with Home Depot Pro sales associates to help them win and serve contractor customers all across the US. In this role, you will be highly involved, connecting daily with contractors, customers, sales managers and leadership to provide sales, service and support to our clients and customers. You'll coordinate meetings and trade events, keep our quote pipeline organized and moving, and use AI-powered tools and analytics to deliver sharp sales insights to our internal and external partners. 

You'll collaborate with customers, manufacturers, inside/outside sales associates, and office staff to drive sales results and deliver exceptional service. 

Job Responsibilities: 

1. Build relationships with contractors, Home Depot Pro merchants and associates, and manufacturers 

2. Serve as first point of contact by phone and email for our sales team, Home Depot Pro merchants, associates, and contractors 

3. Support outside sales managers and agency leadership with research, analytics, quotes, and account follow-up 

4. Use our CRM tool to manage our quote log to generate insights and follow up on open quotes before they expire 

5. Leverage AI tools and data analytics to generate and interpret sales reports for manufacturer partners 

6. Coordinate customer meetings and trade show events 

7. Help create marketing materials, product brochures, and presentations that showcase our manufacturer lines and services we offer 

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field. Recent and upcoming graduates are encouraged to apply. 

• Internships, part-time jobs, or campus leadership in sales, marketing, or customer service are a plus 

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong work ethic and clear verbal, phone, and written communication skills 

• Self-starter who takes ownership of their work and is motivated by sales goals 

• Competitive drive and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced sales environment 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with CRM or AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) is a plus 

• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities 

Other Requirements: 

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record with the ability to travel in the regional market 

• Reliable vehicle with proof of auto insurance 

• Occasional overnight travel  

What We Offer: 

Compensation - $50,000–$60,000 a year (base + bonus) 

401(k) with company match; profit sharing; paid time off and holidays 

Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office / 2 days remote) 

Mileage reimbursement for travel 

Hands-on training with experienced sales managers  

Exposure to leading lighting and electrical brands and the Home Depot Pro channel
