Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound exams, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during ultrasound assessments, explaining each procedure with empathy and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic results
• Ensure optimal operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment, timely reporting of malfunctions
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records within the electronic health systems
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

CREDENTIALS NEEDED

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a relevant equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
