Daytime Bakers are responsible for producing various bakery products/baked goods by following set recipes and department standards. Bakers will measure, mix, cut, roll, press, proof, bake, fry, fill and frost as necessary to provide customers with a variety of visually appealing, appetizing, high-quality baked goods.

Requirements/Responsibilities

The Market in the Square is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our Bakery department as a Baker.

Responsibilities:
- Produce various baked goods by following set recipes and department standards
- Mix, measure, cut, roll, press, proof, bake, fry, fill and frost bakery products as necessary
- Maintain clean, safe and sanitary bakery area and equipment
- Stocking and rotation of all bakery products and supplies
- Utilize equipment, such as ovens, mixers, sheeters, fryers, scales, slicers and wrappers

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Able to provide and receive constructive feedback
- Outgoing, friendly, neat and professional

Physical Requirements:
- Requires standing, walking, bending, climbing throughout the entire workday
- The ability to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Weekend and holiday work will be required; flexible hours

Education and Work Experience:
- Previous baking experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age Special Instructions
