Social Media Manager & Content Creator Location: Poughkeepsie NY Salary: $60,000.00 Job Type: Permanent Position Summary My client is seeking a highly creative, organized, and trend-driven Social Media Manager to lead the venue's digital presence and storytelling efforts. This individual will be responsible for creating compelling content, managing multiple social media platforms, developing viral campaigns, and showcasing the incredible experiences happening across my clients Ice Arena, and community events. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who lives and breathes social media, has exceptional organizational skills, and knows how to turn everyday moments into high-performing content. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms for my clients Ice Arena and Icetime Sports Complex and the Americana Drive In Theater. Create, shoot, edit, and publish engaging photo and video content daily. Produce multiple viral-style videos and trend-driven campaigns each month. Build and maintain a monthly content calendar and posting schedule. Attend concerts, sporting events, community events, and special programs to capture real-time content. Coordinate and schedule content in advance while also reacting quickly to trends and breaking moments. Write compelling captions, scripts, and calls-to-action that drive engagement and ticket sales. Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and user-generated content. Collaborate with internal teams, promoters, sponsors, and community partners to create integrated campaigns. Track analytics and provide monthly performance reports, including growth, engagement, and video performance metrics. Identify opportunities for influencer partnerships and creator collaborations. Qualifications 3+ years of social media management and content creation experience. Proven track record of creating viral or high-performing content. Exceptional organization, scheduling, and project management skills. Strong photography, videography, and video editing abilities. Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, and social scheduling tools. Ability to work nights and weekends as events require. Passion for entertainment, live events, sports, and community engagement. Preferred Skills Strong content creation skills with the ability to produce engaging, shareable, and viral content across multiple platforms. Experience managing multiple brands or accounts simultaneously. Knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, and emerging platforms. Ability to think creatively and move quickly in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and storytelling skills. Success Metrics Create and publish 30-40 pieces of original content weekly. Produce at least 2-4 viral or high-engagement video concepts per month. Increase audience growth, engagement, and video views across all platforms.
