Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist

CarParts.com (formerly US Auto Parts and JC Whitney) is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist with Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) / Cherry Picker experience to support inventory accuracy and warehouse operations within our fulfillment center. This role combines hands-on inventory control responsibilities with safe and efficient PIT operation in a fast-paced distribution environment. We believe in work/life balance and offer multiple full-time shift options, including weekday, night, and weekend schedules (shift availability and differentials may vary by location).What You Will DoAs an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy while actively operating PIT equipment as required.Inventory Control & QualityPerform cycle counts (digital and physical) to maintain inventory accuracyAudit inventory management processes and identify discrepanciesResearch, correct, and document inventory variances in the WMSMaintain accurate SKU records for incoming and outgoing inventoryPrepare and provide inventory reports to the Inventory Control Manager (ICM)Maintain inventory thresholds within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)Ensure accurate bin placement, labeling, and location codesDispose of obsolete inventory as directedOversee and process all RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) transactionsOversee and process all RTV (Return to Vendor) transactionsPIT Operation & Warehouse SupportSafely operate cherry pickers, stock pickers, and other PIT equipment in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulationsComplete required PIT equipment checklists prior to operationInspect and properly use safety harnesses and lanyardsTransport pallets to designated staging or storage locationsAssist with packing or other fulfillment tasks as business needs requireMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentMeet or exceed productivity, quality, and safety standardsPerform additional duties as assigned by leadershipWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAMRequired: Ability to safely operate cherry pickers/stock pickers (PIT certification or ability to become certified)Prior warehouse, fulfillment, inventory control, or quality control experience preferredStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and safetyIntermediate verbal and written communication skillsFlexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentGoal-oriented with the ability to meet productivity expectationsComfortable working independently and collaborativelyWillingness to work extended hours or overtime as business needs requireAbility to maintain a clean and organized work areaWe believe in work/life balance and have several shifts available to meet your personal needs!Fulltime Weekday 3 days: Mon - Wed from 5 am - 5:30 pmFulltime Weekday Nights 4 days: Mon - Thur from 6:00 pm - 4:30 amFulltime Weekend 3 days: Thur - Sat 5:00 am - 5:30 pmGREAT PAY & BENEFITSMedical, Dental & Vision401k, Stock Purchase Plan, Life InsuranceStep Progression Increases: $.50 Raise Every 6 MonthsGenerous Paid Time OffEmployee DiscountsTuition ReimbursementQuarterly Bonus PotentialReferral BonusAdvancement Opportunities, Lots of Fun & Much More!Physical RequirementsOccasionally: Activity exists up to 1/3 of the time (8-12 hour shift)Frequently: Activity exists from 1/3 of the time up to 2/3 of the time (8-12 hour shift)Constantly: Activity exists 2/3 or more of the time (8-12 hour shift) What We DoCarParts.com is the go-to eCommerce platform for auto care and maintenance.
