Full Time Reconditioning Shop Driver (Manheim)

Job Overview Responsible for safely moving, staging and parking vehicles on auction property, driving vehicles to and from auction lots and customer businesses, and operating within auction sale lanes on designated sale days in compliance with safety rules and regulations. Compensation Hourly pay rate of $15.12. Position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commission and incentive programs. Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm. May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate. Job Responsibilities Drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner. Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on auction premises and to customer dealerships and businesses while observing driving rules and demonstrating courtesy. Line up and park vehicles in the correct order, move vehicles as necessary, and locate lost vehicles. Assist with vehicle operations: inflate tires, jump‑start using battery box and air tank. Notify supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative or when out of gas. Assist customers and coworkers as needed. Follow safety and health procedures and model safety excellence. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Valid driver’s license. Ability to enter and exit vehicles constantly. Ability to sit for prolonged periods. Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions. Ability to walk long distances, stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear regularly. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb frequently. Ability to lift 1–15 lbs. Vision: close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous auction experience (preferred). Work Environment and Physical Demands Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Drug Testing Pre‑employment drug test is required. This role does not administer a pre‑employment drug test for marijuana.
