Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking a performance-driven, proven, and ambitious, Clinical Educator to deliver educational support and training support for Healthcare Professionals and other office staff within oncology facilities/offices in their management of patients with cancer in order to meet all relevant standards as set by the company/client and Manager. Communicate to the Manager any concerns identified during the in-service education process. The Manager will serve as the single point of contact with Merck for all Program related communication. reporting of all visits, including but not limited to the type of education conducted, length of visit, and office that was visited. A visit is defined as Complete all required administrative responsibilities in a timely manner. Some of these could include but are not limited to; daily computer updates, weekly summary of activity reports, emails and monthly expense reports Attend local and national meetings and/or conferences, as required, to keep abreast of plans, activities and developments and to exchange knowledge and experience within the team Perform other duties as requested Must have at least three (3) years of oncology nursing experience that includes, but is not limited to, direct patient care, physical assessment, patient education, group in servicing, and proficiency in peripheral IV access. Chemotherapy infusion experience required. Strong problem-solving skills. Demonstrable organizational skills and/or previous territory management is preferred Ability to travel, including overnight travel. The amount of travel varies by territory but may be up to 100% travel. Must have good communication, speaking, and writing skills.
