Details Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting 13-week contract assignment 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week Night shift schedule from 1:00PM-1:00AM Every other weekend (EOW) required Holiday coverage on a rotation basis 2-week nights rotation required of all travelers No block scheduling available On-call responsibilities include 2 call shifts per 6-week schedule period, each 13 hours, with expectation to be onsite within one hour if called EPIC EMR experience required Requirements Active Illinois RN license in good standing required Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience required ASN required; BSN preferred BLS certification (AHA) required ACLS certification (AHA) required PALS certification (AHA) required TNCC certification highly preferred EPIC charting experience required Trauma Level 2 or higher experience preferred Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department environment Perform initial patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with providers, patients, and families Implement and modify nursing interventions based on continuous patient assessment Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient and staff safety Provide peer feedback and contribute to a collaborative, healing work environment Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract This is a high-risk department assignment American Traveler Job ID P-740749.
