The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Associate Director, Gift Administration, UNLV Advocacy, Communication, and Donor Relations [R0153606]

ROLE of the POSITION

The Associate Director, Gift Administration is responsible for the creation, review and approval of all gift agreements and related documentation, as well as the development, implementation, and oversight of UNLV Foundation policies and procedures related to gift agreements to promote accurate, timely, and secure records management.

The Associate Director is responsible for preparing documents used for closing new gifts and commitments. The Associate Director will implement best practices for gift documentation; provide training for development officers; draft, review, and proofread agreements; coordinate the signature process and distribution of signed agreements. This position will be responsible for communications regarding draft and completed gift agreements as well as reviewing the integrity of their entry into the

Database. This position will coordinate with UNLV Foundation Accounting & Operations staff, as well as the Records team to request and establish new gift accounts. The Associate Director ensures accuracy and clarity of agreements and accounts. They will also be responsible for assisting donor relations to advance stewardship of donors. The Associate Director will lead projects which impact the establishment of funds, design improvements for processes, and utilize analytical skills to ensure that gift agreements are processed and administered in a proper manner. The incumbent will liaise with development leadership and officers, campus leadership, faculty, department representatives, donors, and donor representatives, including their counsel, regarding gift policies and gift documentation. The incumbent will ensure all processes and documentation regarding gift agreements are consistent with NSHE, UNLV, and UNLV Foundation policies and practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and five to seven years of related experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Seven to nine years of professional experience.

SALARY

The salary range for the Associate Director, Gift Administration is $64,600-$73,900. Salary is competitive with those at similarly situated institutions.
