Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients using established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, interpret data, recognize changes, and respond to emergencies; administer medications and manage supports as ordered; collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
- Develop, implement, and adjust care plans to achieve expected patient outcomes; document progress and evaluate effectiveness.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate appropriately and coordinate duties with the care team.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families; communicate health information to the treatment team.
- Maintain a safe, healing environment with attention to infection control, patient safety, and quality standards.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in California or eligibility to practice in the state of assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; CPR certification acceptable per policy.
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/acute care nursing experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour schedule).
- Vaccination in accordance with organizational policy.
