Registered Nurse - Cardiology - Travel

Job Description:

Step into a vibrant travel nursing opportunity in an outpatient cardiology setting, where your expertise in rhythm interpretation and cardiovascular assessment will directly guide real-time patient care. You'll expertly set up and interpret EKGs, perform BP readings and finger-sticks as needed, and collaborate with a compassionate team to support patients throughout their visits. There are chances to contribute to advanced procedures and stress testing workflows, assist with IV initiation and medication management, and help manage patient messages in the electronic health record system. Ideal candidates will hold an active RN license and bring a minimum of two years of outpatient cardiology experience, with a willingness to commit to a structured 13-week assignment and to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Cardiology clinic experience required
• Ability to read arrhythmias in real time
• Hook up EKG leads and perform EKG
• Apply BP cuff and read BP
• Finger sticks required
• Nuclear Medicine Stress Testing experience
• Monitor Nuclear Stress Test
• Monitor Treadmill Stress Test
• IV initiation for procedures
• INR management
• Medication Management
• CA RN license
• EPIC experience preferred
