Unified Women’s Healthcare of North Carolina is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Nocturnist Physician to join a prestigious Women’s Health Care Center in Asheville, NC. The practice values a team approach to patient care and strives to provide an individualized, meaningful experience for every patient.

About the Practice

The practice consists of seven physicians and a dedicated support staff. All deliveries and GYN surgeries are performed at Mission Hospital, which has a level 3 NICU, robotics for specialized GYN surgeries, and hosts the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) residency program. The group is focused on hospital shifts with an emphasis on Labor & Delivery.

Practice Highlights

• Shifts are at Mission Hospital, a level 1 trauma center with a level 3 NICU, hospitalist support, and a Da Vinci robotic system.
• Private call room with full amenities.
• Hospital L&D cover team supports hospitalist coverage.
• Full‑time position: 5 pm – 8 am.
• Provider is required to work 10 days per month, typically 2–3 consecutive shifts.
• Malpractice coverage provided by the group.
• Call is shared with another practice group.
