Take the lead in our kitchen! Happy Daz in Wapakoneta is hiring a detail-oriented Prep Cook who takes pride in clean, organized prep work and brings solid knife skills to the kitchen. If you're ready to help keep our kitchen running like clockwork, we want to meet you.

• Starting pay: $13.00 - $15.00/hour, paid weekly
• Eligible for a pay increase after just 60 days - up to 11% in your first year

What You'll Do:

• Follow our food manual, recipes, and daily prep list to keep the kitchen running on schedule
• Prepare recipes accurately - measuring, cooking, and using proper cooling methods
• Follow proper date-labeling, food storage, and safety/sanitation procedures
• Keep your prep area clean, organized, and stocked to par levels
• Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment
• Place produce orders and help manage kitchen inventory
• Support the team during peak hours - cooking, stocking, cleaning, or backing up the front line
• Safely handle, use, and store cleaning and sanitation chemicals

What We're Looking For:

• Previous kitchen experience and knife skills preferred
• Comfortable leading and taking direction in a fast-paced kitchen
• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be at least 18 years old
