Data Engineer

Overview:

Preferred Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Open to candidates from Bentonville, AR)

Experience: 6-8+ Years

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Java Developer with strong expertise in building scalable and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices, and relational databases .

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications and microservices.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless system integration.
• Work with relational databases ( MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle ) and ORM frameworks ( Hibernate, JPA ).
• Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum development processes and support production issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6-8+ years of professional experience in Java development .
• Strong expertise with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture .
• Experience working with relational databases ( MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle ) and ORM frameworks ( Hibernate, JPA ).
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best coding practices .
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
