Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This position requires a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, offering 36 hours per week.

This is a 13-week contract position.

The Registered Nurse in this position holds shift accountability for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. This role requires the utilization of the Nursing Process in accordance with the state's Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care.

• Provide obstetrical care to patients throughout various stages of childbirth.
• Utilize the Nursing Process while adhering to state law and hospital protocols.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and effective judgment in patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuous education.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities according to the education and experience of the staff.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel in delivering patient care.

All travel submissions must include a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, along with prior travel nursing experience. Local candidates will not be accepted.
