Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Greenville, NC Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: OB Hospitalist • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Greenville, NC • Service Setting: Hospital • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing • Shift Schedule: TBD; (11) 24-hour shifts/month • Call Schedule: Nights & Weekends - Shared with OBGYN Generalists and Certified Nurse Midwife • Call Type: In-House PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Volume: 50 per day • No of Surgical Cases: 10 per month (per surgeon) • Admissions: 10 (days); 5 (nights) • Case Mix: Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Emergency Consults, Surgical Cases FACILITY INFORMATION • Office Equipment Available: Standard Hospital Equipment • Specialty Backup Available: NICU Support Through Maynard Children's Hospital • Support Staff Available: 27 Physicians, 9 APPs, Certified Nurse Midwife PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Cesarean Delivery • D&C (Obstetric and Gynecologic) • Diagnostic Laparoscopy • Operative Laparoscopy • Urgent and Emergent Gynecologic Procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS • Active NC License or Ability to Obtain • Board Certified OBGYN • Active DEA • BLS • OB Hospitalist Experience (Preferred) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Will respond to codes • Expected to serve as ack up in the ER • Locums will serve as back up to ER because LT will be covering ED consults
