\n • Schedule: Approximately 16 shifts per month with a mix of day and night coverage\n

\n PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE \n
\n
\n • Patient Demographics: Adults and Pediatrics presenting with acute and emergent medical conditions\n
\n
\n • Average Daily Volume / Census: Carrollton ED approximately 65,000 visits annually; Villa Rica ED approximately 45,000 visits annually\n
\n
\n • Admissions & Rounding: Admissions coordinated through hospital services; no inpatient rounding required\n
\n
\n • Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes, with specialty consultation available as needed\n
\n
\n • Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Full-spectrum emergency medicine including trauma, medical emergencies, acute illness, and injury stabilization\n
\n
\n
\n
\n FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS \n
\n
\n • Beds in Department/Unit: Carrollton Emergency Department – 40 beds; Villa Rica Emergency Department – 36 beds\n
\n
\n • Trauma Designation: Both Emergency Departments designated as Level II Trauma Centers\n
\n
\n • EMR System: EPIC electronic medical record system\n
\n
\n • Specialty Backup: Full specialty support available through the Tanner Health System\n
\n
\n • Support Staff: Advanced Practice Providers including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants\n
\n
\n • Leadership & Reporting Structure: Physician-led democratic emergency medicine group\n
\n
\n • Reason for Opening: Continued growth and sustained community demand for emergency care services\n

\n CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE \n
\n
\n • Board Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine\n
\n
\n • DEA & Certifications: Active DEA required; ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications preferred\n
\n
\n • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60–90 days\n
\n
\n

\n • Incentive Bonus Structure: Partnership track beginning in year three with average partner compensation around $450,000\n
\n
\n • Relocation Assistance: Up to $14,000 relocation assistance available\n

\n REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS \n
\n
\n • Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine\n
\n
\n • State License Required: Eligible for or able to obtain a Georgia medical license\n
\n
\n • Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, and PALS preferred\n
\n
\n • Experience: Open to both experienced physicians and newly trained Emergency Medicine physicians\n
\n
\n • Additional Requirements: Ability to work within a collaborative, physician-led emergency medicine group\n
\n
\n

\n DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES \n
\n
\n • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illness and injury\n
\n
\n • Rapidly evaluate, diagnose, and stabilize patients across a wide spectrum of medical conditions\n
\n
\n • Coordinate care with hospital specialists, nursing staff, and advanced practice providers\n
\n
\n • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EPIC electronic medical record system\n
\n
\n • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices\n
\n
\n
