Solutions Architect

Job Title

Must have experience with payment processing solutions and tools. Ideally POS (Point of Sales) experience within a Gas/Fuel industry such as Exxon Mobile or BP or Shell or Circle K.

• Experience with Radiant POS, Verifone POS, and or PDI (Back Office) solutions, or equivalent POS and ERP platforms.
• Experience with payment technology solutions and payment processing
• Design focused
• Very open on the programming language background this person comes from originally
• Enterprise level experience
• 100% remote and very flexible on time zones nationwide

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide payment technology expertise for Circle K retail systems and business partners.
• Facilitates IT, Business, and Third-Party vendors to gather technical requirements for payment system strategies, payment solution enhancements and upgrades.
• Responsible for developing the Payment Architecture Roadmap that defines the sequence and timing of the payments project technology solutions.
• Lead the development of payment technology strategy including networks, hardware platforms and application solutions.
• Work closely with the CK Innovation Team to evaluate digital payment technology solutions
• Participate as a member of the CK Enterprise Architecture Payments Guild
• Works with Retail Systems Leadership team to facilitate development of Payments Program deliverables on time and on budget.
• Performs other job duties as required.

Job Requirements (General):

• BS degree in IT field or equivalent combination of education and experience-based learning.
• 5 or more years of experience/knowledge of retail systems and payment technologies
• 5 or more years of experience in one or more key technology domains (i.e. Network, Operations, Applications)
• Positive attitude.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and customer service skills; must be detail oriented with an ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Requires good presentation and communication skills as well as team participation.
• Must be able to interact with management and team in a remote work environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively to various audiences, orally and written.
• Ability to process information, including gathering, interpreting, assessing, organizing, and verifying data and material problems with computer hardware and software.
• Ability to effectively research, analyze and evaluate information to make decisions, solve problems and achieve goals.
• Physical Demands: Work requires frequent sitting, standing, walking and use of keyboard/computer. Work is subject to significant telephone contact with employees and customers and can be stressful.
