Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care in the Labor and Delivery unit, while ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and newborns.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health, managing complications such as pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and other high-risk conditions.Implement active management strategies for laboring patients, including induction and augmentation of labor.Assist in maternal emergencies and support the delivery process of singles, multiples, and VBAC/TOLAC patients.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in Epic charting system.Requirements:Current RN license in the state of practice.Experience in acute care high-risk Labor and Delivery settings.Ability to float between units as needed.Willingness to work some weekend shifts.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Schedule Details:Shift: Night shifts, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00).Weekend shifts are required as needed.No block schedules are in place.A total of 48 hours is approved for this position.Facility Highlights:Type: Short Term Acute Care / Level II Trauma Center / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.Total Staffed Beds: 629.Teaching hospital providing a supportive environment for professional growth.No parking fees for staff.Scrub color: RN can wear any color; specific requirements for L&D staff will be provided upon hire.If you are a compassionate and skilled Labor and Delivery RN looking to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families, we encourage you to apply today!
