Water and Wastewater Design Engineer, Treatment Plants Parsippany, NJ (Hybrid) Be the senior technical design lead on treatment plants and pump stations, a design seat meant to stay a design seat, not a step into PM. Must-Haves BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering 5 to 10 years of hands-on water and wastewater design PE license, or on track within 6 to 12 months Strong knowledge of NJDEP regulations and permitting, plus EPA, CWA, and SDWA AutoCAD and strong technical writing US work authorization without sponsorship; commutable to Parsippany or Sparta What You'll Do Design treatment facilities, pump stations, storage, and distribution and collection systems Run hydraulic, process, and environmental feasibility studiesProduce calculations, reports, specs, cost estimates, and contract documents Lead permitting: NJPDES, Treatment Works Approvals, and BWSE Mentor junior engineers on design and regulatory work Nice-to-Haves Treatment plant and pumping station design, wastewater weighted State Revolving Fund and funding applications Municipal and utility client experience What You'll Get $120K to $150K base plus year-end bonus Hybrid flexibility and flexible hours, two offices to choose from 4% 401(k) match, medical, dental, and vision 15 days PTO, tuition and license fee reimbursement About The Company A privately held northern New Jersey consulting engineering firm, in business 40+ years and named a Best Place to Work three years running. #J-18808-Ljbffr Water Otter Job Board
