Caregiver

No Worries Care Olympia

Job Description

Job Description

No Worries Care is urgently hiring compassionate, dedicated caregivers to support clients in their own homes. In this role, you'll help individuals with daily health and personal needs while promoting their safety, comfort, and independence.

CNA or HCA certification is preferred, but not required. If you have caregiving experience but aren't certified yet, we still want to hear from you — we're happy to support you through training and certification once you're on our team.

The ideal candidate has experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home health, with a genuine focus on patient-centered care. This is a chance to make a real difference in people's lives while working with a supportive, professional team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) — bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support

  • Provide medication reminders in line with care plans and HIPAA guidelines

  • Prepare meals and provide nutritional support tailored to individual dietary needs

  • Support clients with memory care, dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments

  • Safely operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts for transfers and mobility

  • Observe and report any changes in a client's condition or behavior to the care team

  • Perform light housekeeping

  • Follow care plans closely and accurately document services provided

  • Encourage participation in social activities to support overall well-being

  • Follow all safety protocols, including CPR, first aid, and infection control procedures

Qualifications

  • Caregiving experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice preferred — CNA or HCA credential a plus, but candidates without certification will be considered

  • Comfortable observing patient condition and noticing changes that should be reported

  • Able to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate, hands-on care

  • Familiar with medication reminders and following care plans

  • Experience supporting people with dementia, arthritis, or mobility limitations is a plus

  • Strong communication skills with clients, families, and the care team

  • Able to safely perform physical tasks such as resident transfers

  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred; training provided if needed

  • Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality

  • Comfortable working with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities
