Freelance Copywriters & Editors - Native English Speakers in Korea (Entertainment)

THE ROLE

We are seeking skilled copywriters and editors to craft and refine synopses for one of the world’s largest streaming platforms. You’ll watch Korean shows/movies in Korean and write or edit synopses for them in English. In addition, you’ll implement feedback following multiple rounds of review. Ideal candidates are native English speakers with an advanced level of Korean, deep knowledge of Korean culture, and professional experience in the streaming and entertainment industry.

REQUIREMENTS

Native English speaker High level of Korean language Live in Korea 2 years of professional copywriting or editing experience Strong attention to detail Can provide a portfolio or samples of your work

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience writing and/or editing synopses of shows or movies. Comfortable working on JIRA, an asset management tool.

RATES & TITLE TYPES

Copywriting Standalone Film: $192 USD per title Series-Level: $131 USD per series Episode: $40 USD per episode Editing Standalone Film: $35 USD per title Series-Level: $30 USD per series Episode: $10 USD per episode

WORKLOAD

5-10 titles per week.

PAYMENT

We settle invoices through Wise or by bank transfer at the end of month following the month of the invoice.
