The registered nurse develops, implements and evaluates the nursing plan of patient care and implements the medical plan of care in collaboration with all disciplines.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Certification and Licensure

• PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License
• BLS
• ACLS

Located in Pottstown, PA, and a member of Tower Health, Pottstown Hospital is a 195-bed hospital that offers a full range of health services, including inpatient and outpatient, medical and surgical, and diagnostic and emergency care . Pottstown Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and has been recognized for its quality outcomes and clinical expertise across many service lines. The hospital also is a Primary Stroke Center; Joint Commission-certified for hip and knee replacement.

The 3rd Floor is an advanced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with 42 private and semi-private rooms. Our talented team provides care for patients with a wide variety of complex medical conditions, including orthopedic patients, congestive heart failure (CHF), pneumonia, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), and sepsis.
