Design Engineer

Join our Product Team as a Design Engineer, translating high‑level product concepts into robust, manufacturable designs that meet cost targets, delight customers, and push boundaries in modularity and market impact. Key Responsibilities Develop solid models, evaluate prototypes, and deliver complete design packages for drafting. Take a direct, hands‑on approach to building and testing prototypes. Leverage R&D resources for rapid design iterations and validation. Research and evaluate purchased components to improve performance, cost, and features. Observe manufacturing processes to drive design improvements that reduce costs and lead times. Ensure designs meet customer strength requirements and relevant industry standards/codes. Interpret engineering specifications and design codes accurately. Engage directly with end users, including travel to manufacturing facilities and conversations with maintenance leaders, to understand real‑world product usage. Manage multiple projects effectively in a fast‑paced setting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. 2+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency in 3D modeling software and FEA (Autodesk Inventor preferred). Experience with a New Product Introduction (NPI) stage‑gate process is a plus.
