Security Officer - Truck Gate

Wage: $16.75/hour Full-time position. Must be comfortable working with computers. Schedule: Tuesday through Sunday, shifts available from 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM or 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM. Job Summary The officer will work inside a scale house/gatehouse, processing inbound and outbound truck traffic and managing gate access control for employees and deliveries. Responsibilities Process inbound and outbound truck traffic. Manage gate access control for employees and deliveries. Observe and report activities and incidents at the assigned client site, providing security and safety of client property and personnel. Perform security patrols of the premises. Provide customer service and information to employees and customers. Job Requirements Prior security experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Must pass drug screen and background check. Must meet all applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for security officers/guards. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, may require climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain. Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
