Endoscopy Technician

Registered NurseHourly Pay Range: $20.69 - $30.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Location: Glenbrook HospitalFull timeHours: Availability from 7am-5:30pm M-F with call requirements (PMs, Nights and weekends included)Travel: Floating Locations 1-2 times per month: (Highland Park, Skokie and Evanston Hospitals)What You Will Do:Assists with providing nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in the Outpatient Surgery Department. Performs processing of instruments and equipment in OPS to assure prompt and safe re-use.What You Will Need:Education: High School Graduate or equivalentCertification: CPR BLS through American Heart AssociationExperience: Must satisfactorily complete a planned orientation program at Swedish Covenant Hospital. Good communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with others. Ability to observe and report accurately. Technical ability for handling specialized instrumentation and equipment. Ability to handle confidentiality appropriately. One year of hospital experience or equivalent experience preferred.
