About the Role: The Stockroom Kitting Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient preparation and organization of product kits within the stockroom environment. This position is responsible for assembling components and materials into kits according to specific instructions, which supports smooth production and distribution processes. The role requires meticulous attention to detail to verify that all kit contents are accurate and complete before they are dispatched. Additionally, the Stockroom Kitting Clerk collaborates closely with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels and report any discrepancies. Ultimately, this position contributes to operational efficiency by ensuring that kits are prepared accurately and delivered on time to meet production schedules. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic experience in warehouse or stockroom operations. Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and inventory documentation. Physical capability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds safely. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in kitting or assembly roles within a manufacturing or distribution environment. Familiarity with inventory management software or warehouse management systems (WMS). Basic computer skills including data entry and use of spreadsheets. Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in warehouse settings. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities: Assemble product kits by gathering and organizing specified components according to detailed instructions and quality standards. Verify the accuracy and completeness of kits before packaging and distribution to prevent errors in production or shipping. Maintain organized and clean work areas within the stockroom to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with inventory control and warehouse personnel to monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies promptly. Document kit assembly activities and update inventory records to ensure accurate tracking of materials and finished kits. Skills: The required skills such as attention to detail and organizational ability are essential for accurately assembling kits and ensuring all components are included as specified. Physical stamina and safe material handling skills are used daily to manage stock and move items efficiently within the stockroom. Communication skills facilitate effective collaboration with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain stock accuracy and resolve issues.
