Substitute Custodian

Responsibilities Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. Follow through on assigned duties and school policies. Support a clean and orderly school environment as a substitute custodian. General Requirements At‑will employee with no employment rights beyond pay for services rendered. Must subscribe to an Oath of Allegiance, provide a tuberculosis examination, be fingerprinted, complete a pre‑placement physical exam, and show proof of identity and right to work in the United States. Must satisfy the District’s drug‑free workplace policy and pass a satisfactory drug test. Must possess the training, education, and experience required for this classification and attain placement on the eligibility list by passing all examination parts relating to the job. Grounds for Termination Two cancellations of previously accepted assignments less than 24 hours before the start of the assignment. Failure to accept an assignment within a six‑month period.
