Senior HVAC Service Technician in Port Washington

Rebmann Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician for their Port Washington, NY location, servicing only within Long Island. The ideal candidate will already have HVAC work experience and be able to perform repair and maintenance work in a thorough and accurate manner. Responsibilities Service all equipment according to an established service schedule and company standards, within acceptable time frames, and troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location. Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their HVAC concerns. Document legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy and submit daily. Build and maintain customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company’s image. Follow all safety procedures, including safe driving habits and not using mobile devices in vehicles. Apply knowledge of products and seek additional training or education as appropriate. Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of heating experience. EPA – Universal Certification. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Competencies Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Technical knowledge. Strong organizational skills. Paid holidays. 401(k) plan. The starting hourly base wage for this position is $35 to $40. This is the range of the base pay only and does not include other components that make up the total compensation package. If offered this position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education and may fall outside of the provided range.
