The Role
Your responsibilities:
- Requirements-based Digital Hardware Design & Verification (FPGA)
- Formal Requirements Capture
- Conceptual Design/Hierarchical Decomposition
- Detailed Design (VHDL)
- Module Level Verification
- Implementation
- HW Integration
- Formal Design Documentation
- Design Verification via HDL simulation/code assertions/HW verification on-target
- Development of Verification Cases, Test Environment & of Verification Procedures
- Performing Verification
- Formal Documentation of Results
- Experience in one of the following domains:
- Digital Video/Image Processing and Video Standards (e.g. NTSC/PAL component video, VGA, SMPTE SDI, Display Port, ARINC 818)
- Legacy I/O standards (e.g. Serial, SPI/I2C, ARINC 429, MilBus)
- Modern interconnects (PCI-Express, Ethernet)
- Memory Interface Standards (DDR3/4)
- Peripheral Interconnects
- Basic project management skills (Cost Account Management)
- Ownership and accountability
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent English skills
- European citizenship beneficial due to project requirements
You
Our requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Communications, Aerospace, and Astronautics Engineering or comparable studies
- Minimum 4 years of project experience in complex digital HW design (industry or academic)
- Hardware Description Language: VHDL, Verilog
- Scripting Language (e.g. TCL)
- Windows/Linux (user, scripting)
- Mentor ModelSim/QuestaSim
- Xilinx ISE/Vivado and/or MicroSemi Libero
- DOORS and/or JAMA
- SVN/Clearcase
- Avionics HW Development Standards (DO-254), alternatively automotive, space or medical
