Overview McKenney's Inc. is seeking Plumbing Service Technician to join our team in the Metro Charlotte, NC area. We are a thriving company with 75+ years of exceptional service to the Southeast. This role will be responsible for assisting qualified plumbers helping to install, repair, and maintain pipes used for water distribution and wastewater disposal. Responsibilities Assist qualified plumbers ininstallation, repair, and maintenance of domestic water, piping, drain piping, fixtures, and gas piping. Pick up and deliver necessary parts, materials, supplies, tools and equipment. Maintain vehicle, tools, equipment, and supplies in a safe and orderly condition. Communicate efficiently with team leaders, account managers, supervisors and other McKenney’s team members as needed. Cut openings in structures in preparation for repairs or installation. Maintain electronic work orders to include detailed description of work performed and time entry daily. Perform related duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or GED Minimum of 5 years' prior plumbing experience Valid Driver's license.Employees in this classification must maintain insurability during the term of employment. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

Ability to climb and work at heights, walking, and standing for extended periods of time, lifting, bending, pushing, and moving objects up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments; must also be able to drive in various conditions to conduct work. Work involves moderate exposure to elements, such as hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises. Work environment involves some exposure to construction, mechanical and electrical-related hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
