We're growing the next California cannabis brand for a new breed of cannabis consumers who want to know more about the cannabis they're consuming and that starts with our transparency.Brand AmbassadorOur client is looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, and personable Brand Ambassadors to be the face of a successful cannabis brand in either of the following areas: Las Vegas and Reno and surrounding.The Brand Ambassador will partner with our client to effectively communicate brand ethos, process, and goals. Act as the "face" of the brand within the territory, representing our brand in a positive and professional manner at retail, events, and within the Cannabis industry.Responsibilities:Build brand awareness, interact with a wide variety of cannabis customers/clients and articulate the value proposition of the company.You will be responsible for signing up new clients, educating consumers and bringing in insights from the field.Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.Build constructive customer relationships and team with Field Sales Manager to close dealsRemain up to date with industry's best practicesTransporting all promotional material to and from the dispensary where the pop-up event is, as well as setting up the table for the event (computer to demo website, swag to giveaway, branded tablecloth, etc.).The Brand Ambassador would also be responsible for continuing to build a relationship with the dispensary team - making sure that they know how to use the platform and that they remain enthusiastic about the products.Collaborate with the Field Sales Manager to execute selling program to increase revenue within a geographic area.Conduct sampling for dispensary staff, patients, and customers to familiarize them with productsMaintain expert-level knowledge of products and articulate that to new and loyal consumersExecute promotions through tracking activities, sales, and communication during demos.Relay all data to Field Sales Manager for recapsCollect data information for a consumer database75% Travel required - (Field base role)QualificationAssociate degree preferred, High School diploma or equivalent required2 years Brand Ambassador, Bud tending, or Event Staff experience a plusMust be aged 21 or olderA valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (travel required) or reliable transportationWeekend and Evening Availability requiredStrong communicator who is outgoing and high-energyStrong knowledge of cannabis compliance and regulations in Nevada preferredShould be familiar with popular social media platforms Instagram, Snapchat, etc. and Weedmaps.Passionate about the cannabis industryTeam player with excellent communication skills, but who can also work autonomouslyGreat networking and relationship-building skillsPrior experience and success with sales and street marketing are a plusBrand Ambassadors could work on a part-time basis based off availability and current needs within areaCompensation:Competitive base salary plus bonus potentialMileage ReimbursementCell Phone reimbursementMedical, Dental and Vision (full time)Job Type: Part-TimePay: From $20 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule: 8 hour shiftWeekend availabilityExperience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Willingness to travel: 75% (Preferred)Work Location: On the roadAbout Vangst:Vangst is the cannabis industry's hiring platform.
