Warehouse Supervisor

Job Details Magnetics, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for a Warehouse Supervisor based in Phoenix, AZ , in the West Valley. This position will be responsible for directing, supervising, and participating in all functions associated with the warehouse, including daily operations and the employees. This position will be accountable for overseeing efficient and on-time shipments and the receipt and transfer of goods and materials. Magnetics is a leading world supplier of precision soft magnetic components and materials to the electronics industry. We specialise in research, design, and production of high-quality powder cores, ferrite cores, and tape-wound cores for applications such as chokes, inductors, filters, transformers, and power supply components for use in alternative energy, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), telecommunications, aerospace, military, medical, and other electronics systems. Primary responsibilities will include managing advanced ERP (IFS Cloud) transactions, acting as the resident system expert, overseeing inventory setup and control through cycle counts and reconciliation, and ensuring the physical upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities. Additional responsibilities include ensuring all domestic and international shipping and receiving activities are in line with company policies and regulations, and maintaining compliance with laws and legislative changes. The role also involves maintaining safety records and staff certifications, supporting the recruitment and training of warehouse employees, and supervising staff performance through coaching, counseling, and discipline. An associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is required, along with five years of equivalent experience. Candidates must have at least five years of diversified business experience in warehouse management and international shipping. Experience with ERP systems is required, along with the ability to operate forklifts, train others, and lift up to 75 pounds. The ability to speak and read Spanish is preferred.
