Our Client is hiring an Associate for its insurance defense practice group.

Responsibilities:

• This position involves representation of Fortune 100 and 500 companies, major retail businesses, national transportation carriers, and insurance companies in the defense of litigation claims throughout New York State

• Pre and post-suit investigations

• Appearing at pretrial conferences

• Drafting and arguing motions

• Client reporting

• Drafting pleadings

  Qualifications:

• New York State admission

• Candidates must demonstrate an interest in case analysis, and logical reasoning when formulating case strategy

• A willingness to interact with clients, and be involved with on-site inspections and investigations where applicable

• Solid legal research and writing skills are necessary

• Prior trial experience preferred

• Minimum 2-4 years of litigation experience

• License to practice law in NYS (Required)
