Maintenance Team Lead - Cheyenne, WY

They are the leaders in facilities management, bringing technical expertise to every aspect of our apartment communities and providing guidance and training to the maintenance team. From HVAC systems to plumbing repairs and even fresh coats of paint, Maintenance Managers are involved in every apartment, ensuring resident satisfaction. What you’ll do: Oversee the team of Maintenance Team Members Schedule and complete turns Responsible for completing occupied apartment service requests in less than 3 hours Manages the inventory of “ready” apartments to support the community’s marketing and leasing efforts and inspects ready apartments for move-in quality Spearheading maintenance initiatives Consistently exemplifying the Wasatch brand Embodying an owner's mindset Provide your team members with the necessary resources and support to thrive and succeed, fostering a positive work environment Who you are: A detail oriented and task-focused individual A strong communicator A personable and confident customer service professional with a “Resident First” mindset A Team Player and a leader who leads by example Organized and Accountable What we're looking for: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on general maintenance experience EPA Certified with 3-5 years related experience a plus Skill in planning, delegating, and coordinating the work of others Analytical problem solver, developing alternatives and implementing effective strategies Ability to operate various hand and power tools Experience in repairing and or maintaining at least most of the following: Electrical Systems, Plumbing, Appliances, Flooring, Carpentry, Heating and air systems, Pools Ability to lead staff and build a team atmosphere Strong organizational and time management skills Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask A creative and motivating personality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Superior customer service skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies Proficient in Microsoft Office Benefits and Pay Range: Pay range $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience, plus quarterly bonus potential Health, dental, and 401(k) program/match Paid time off for vacation, sick days, and holidays Apartment rent discounts, bonuses, and recognition for a job well done Pay Rate Type: Hourly #J-18808-Ljbffr
