Required skills:

• Current RN license in Texas or for an active compact state
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from AHA
• Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency nursing or related specialty
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing situations
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities

Nice to have skills:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience in trauma or high-volume emergency departments
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Previous travel nursing experience

Preferred education and experience:

• BSN degree highly preferred
• At least one year of ER or acute care experience in a comparable setting
• Proven ability to handle complex patient cases and emergencies

Other requirements:

• Valid RN license in Texas or a compact license
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC from AHA
• Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments
• Attend new nurse orientation within 30 days of hire
• Successful completion of onboarding, competency validation, and ongoing annual training
• Work schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week
