Overview

Job Title: Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Remote

Mano Lani LLC is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer/Tester to support the testing and quality assurance of software applications, databases, and related technology solutions. This position will develop and perform testing activities to ensure applications work as expected and meet customer and technical requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience identifying software issues, documenting test results, and working with developers and technical teams to resolve problems before systems are released to users.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, procedures, and scripts.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.

• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.

• Validate software updates, enhancements, and configuration changes.

• Test application workflows, data interfaces, and database functions.

• Work with developers, analysts, and users to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Maintain test documentation, results, defect logs, and quality records.

• Participate in requirements reviews and software release activities

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, GIS, or a related field.

• Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or application support.

• Experience creating and executing software test plans and test cases.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

• Experience working with database-driven or enterprise applications.

• Ability to meet applicable client access requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing GIS or mapping applications.

• Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS applications.

• Experience with defect tracking and requirements management tools.

• Understanding of software development and testing life cycles.

• Experience working in a government or large enterprise environment.

Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
