Jr. Accounting Analyst - Part Time

Our client, a multinational fashion company, is looking for a Jr. Accounting Analyst to join their team part-time! This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, possess strong attention to detail, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment! Role Overview Contract Role: 4 weeks, possibility of extension Pay: $25.00/hr on W2 Schedule: 24 hours per week, 8 hours per day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays Responsibilities Reconcile Accounts Receivable activity for Retail and E-Commerce channels. Research and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, and outstanding balances. Prepare and maintain AR reconciliation schedules and supporting documentation. Assist with quarter-end close activities and financial reporting. Support balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account variances. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, candidates pursuing a graduate degree is a plus 1+ years of corporate accounting or finance experience Experience or interest in working within the fashion industry Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills The Solomon Page Distinction Solomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
