Friday School Nurse for Young Adult - RN/LPN

Peoria School-Day Nursing Opportunity

At Castor Home Health Solutions, nursing feels like nursing again.

We are seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to provide 1:1 care for a young adult during the school day. This Friday-only shift begins at 6:30 AM in the home, where the nurse will assist with morning needs before attending school with the young adult. The nurse will remain with them throughout the school day and return home with them afterward.

With 24/7 clinical support, paid hands-on training, and a laptop in every home for easy charting, you'll feel confident and supported from day one.

What you'll do:

• Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care in the home and school setting
• Attend school with the young adult and provide care throughout the day
• Monitor vitals, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered
• Support the young adult and family through compassionate, dependable care
• Complete simple real-time charting during your shift

What we're looking for:

• Active Illinois RN or LPN license
• CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
• Compassionate, dependable nurses
• New grads encouraged to apply

No private duty nursing experience? We provide hands-on training in trachs, vents, G/J tubes, and more.
