X-Ray Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday to Friday, 5x8 hours (07:30 - 16:30). No weekends or holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician with two or more years of recent experience in imaging. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing imaging procedures, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray procedures as directed by physicians.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Two years of recent X-ray experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Experience with Allscripts charting system is preferred.
• Knowledge of adult and pediatric imaging techniques.
