Pool Lifeguard

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant individual to join our team as a Pool Lifeguard. This part-time position is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all pool patrons. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for guests of all ages. Responsibilities Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and enforce pool rules and regulations. Respond promptly to emergencies, performing rescues and administering first aid or CPR as needed. Conduct regular safety checks of the pool area, including water quality and equipment functionality. Maintain a clean and organized pool environment, including monitoring the cleanliness of changing rooms and surrounding areas. Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues. Attend regular training sessions and staff meetings to stay updated on safety protocols and emergency response procedures. Prepare and submit incident reports when necessary, documenting any accidents or safety violations. Assist with pool events and activities as directed by management. Requirements Must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid lifeguard certification from a recognized organization. Strong swimming skills and the ability to perform rescues and administer first aid. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patrons and staff. Ability to remain calm and focused in emergency situations. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
