Lead Full Stack Developer (SE4)
Location: Hybrid: Chandler, AZ, Irving, TX, Charlotte, NC or Iselin, NJ
Responsibilities
- Own system design and architecture from concept to production
- Design scalable, resilient microservices capable of handling high-volume traffic
- Lead backend development using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka
- Guide frontend integration using React
- Design and deploy services on OpenShift (OCP)
- Make architectural decisions with long-term scalability in mind
- Evaluate and apply appropriate design patterns
- Ensure compliance with enterprise and external standards
- Mentor SE3 engineers and provide technical leadership
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams
Must Haves
- Expert-level Java and Spring Boot
- Deep Kafka expertise (clustering, scaling, fault tolerance)
- REST API and microservice architecture
- OpenShift (OCP) and cloud-native design
- React frontend integration
- Strong system design and architecture fundamentals
- CI/CD, containerization, production deployment
