Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Akron, OH. This role is based in a 28-bed med/surg unit focusing on respiratory care, including trach and chronic ventilator patients. Nurses comfortable with a fast-paced environment and familiar with patient ratios of 1:5/6 will excel in this unit.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide high-quality nursing care to med/surg patients specializing in respiratory ailments
• Manage trach and chronic ventilator patients within the unit
• Perform phlebotomy and blood draws as needed
• Float to different units as required
• Adhere to unit protocols, including wearing solid black scrubs

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience, specifically with trach/chronic vent patients
• Experience in drawing blood, with at least 2 years recent experience
• ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing degree
• Must include Epic and phlebotomy experience on resume within the last 12 months
