My name is Bipasa , and I'm reaching out from Intellectt Inc . regarding an exciting contract opportunity for a Service Engineer based in Skaneateles Falls, NY with one of our prestigious clients.
Job Summary
We are looking for a Service Engineer with strong experience in technical product support, troubleshooting, deployment, configuration, and upgrades. The role will support products throughout their lifecycle, provide Tier 3 technical support, handle customer escalations, and work closely with Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Service teams in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Service Engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support product deployment, configuration, installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and resolve customer escalations.
- Participate in customer calls and help with requirements decomposition.
- Lead technical execution and communicate technical risks, issues, and solutions.
- Work within FDA, ISO, and IEC-regulated design control environments.
- Support product/service activities across Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Service teams.
- Use Jira/DevOps tools for technical and project-related activities.
- Maintain and work with technical documentation using Excel and Word.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant technical experience in Service Engineering, R&D, or a regulated engineering environment.
- Hands-on experience with product deployment, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Experience providing Tier 3 technical support and handling customer escalations.
- Knowledge of FDA, ISO, and IEC requirements and design controls.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Jira and/or DevOps.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly with customers and internal teams.
- Associate degree or higher.
- Experience in Medical Devices, MedTech, Healthcare Technology, Diagnostics, Medical Imaging, Life Sciences, or another regulated engineering environment is preferred.
