Job Title: Podiatry Clinic Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience - Charting system experience (preferred: Epic) Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to support a dynamic surgical podiatry clinic. The role involves partnering with rotating providers to care for patients with a wide range of medical and surgical foot and ankle conditions. The nurse will provide comprehensive nursing support, including advanced phone triage, patient education, in-basket management, pre-visit planning, wound care, and wound vac management. Assistance with in-clinic procedures is also required. The nurse will care for a diverse patient population, supporting the treatment of conditions such as diabetic foot ulcers, bunions, gout, neuromas, sports injuries, arthritis, and other foot and ankle disorders using both conservative and surgical approaches. Compassionate, patient- and family-centered care is essential while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team to support excellent outcomes. Travelers are required to float as needed between clinics. Minimum experience in inpatient settings is required, with two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty. A telemetry exam will be required prior to the start of the assignment, with specific passing criteria. This position aims to deliver the highest quality of care in a compassionate environment.
