Customer Service Representative We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and visitors by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates effectively, enjoys helping others, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Customer Service Representative provides administrative, clerical, customer service, and general support to the management team and staff. Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing cash payments, handling documentation, supporting purchasing and receiving activities, performing basic accounting tasks, and assisting with recruiting, onboarding, and employee record maintenance. Secondary responsibilities include supporting general operations, including helping with various tasks around the facility as needed. This role plays an important part in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the office and operation. Key responsibilities include: Providing exceptional customer service by answering incoming phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Assisting customers with questions regarding products, services, account information, and order status. Processing cash and credit card payments on site. Maintaining accurate customer records and documenting interactions in company systems. Routing or escalating complex customer concerns to the appropriate department. Supporting purchasing, receiving, filing, and general office administrative functions. Assisting with basic accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and recordkeeping. Supporting recruiting and onboarding activities, including maintaining employee files and compliance documentation. Performing general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, copying, and data entry. Working collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient office operations. Maintaining confidentiality while handling customer and employee information. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications include: High school diploma or GED required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude. Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Preferred qualifications include: Experience in customer service, administrative support, reception, or call center environments. Basic knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping functions. Experience supporting Human Resources or onboarding activities. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required. Familiarity with CRM or customer relationship management software is preferred. Work environment includes: Fast-paced, collaborative office environment. Regular use of computers, phones, and other office equipment. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Occasional lifting of office supplies up to 25 pounds may be required.
