We are equally committed to building a diverse workforce and inclusive culture where employees can use their talents to thrive and grow professionally with the firm.ResponsibilitiesDevelop client list for which he/she will be the primary relationship officerWork collaboratively with management, an FA or FA team to further industry knowledge and to identify financial options and formulate investment strategies for clientsMeet with current or prospective clients to collect and discuss financial information and objectivesProfile clients to identify investment objectives and risk tolerance and use knowledge of investments, taxes, and insurance to recommend financial options to individuals in accordance with each individual's short-term and long-term goals (e.g., retirement and estate planning, funding for college, and general investment options)Offer investment ideas based on firm research and asset allocation strategies tailored to the risk profile and investment objectives of his/her clientsProvide asset allocation advice and build an investment plan to meet clients' investment objectives that includes fee-based/managed products as well as individual equities and bondsWork with Janney Wealth Management to develop new investment solutions in response to client demands and industry trendsParticipate in client meetings with senior FAs to assist in bringing additional assets and strengthening relationshipsContinue to develop knowledge of financial products and markets and the regulatory landscapeDevelop business plans focusing on asset growth and increased revenueCoordinate the purchase and delivery of investment products that are consistent with clients' financial goalsRequirements and QualificationsSeries 7; 63 and 65, or 66 and life and health licensesUndergraduate Degree with an emphasis on business and communications preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentStrong written and oral communication skills requiredCritical thinking skillsHigh ethical standardsThis position will work out of both the Pittsburgh, PA and New Castle, PA offices.Benefits: Janney believes that its employees are the key to what makes a great company.
