We are seeking a Restaurant Line Cook to prepare a steakhouse menu featuring fresh seafood, pastas, and chops while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role will work primarily at a dedicated station, report to the Kitchen Manager during daily operations, and have opportunities for cross-training.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Set up and maintain a dedicated kitchen station for efficient service.
- Execute orders accurately and consistently during service.
- Plate dishes with attention to presentation and portion control.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Rotate inventory to support freshness and minimize waste.
- Clean and organize the kitchen station and surrounding work areas.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to maintain smooth service.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of line cooking experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary training or equivalent kitchen experience.
- Food Handler Certification.
- Knife skills and food preparation experience.
- Experience with grill, fryer, and sauté operations.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices.
- Strong time management, teamwork, and communication skills.
